1.  Where does a portrait session take place?
Locations are tailored to your personal interests. We are spoilt here in Auckland. We have beaches, parks
and urban locations all at our fingertips. I also recommend that if possible, we start off at your house... especially
if you have children. They feel much more at ease and it gives them time to get used the lady with the camera!

2.  What should I wear to make the most of my portrait session?
I try not to impose too many rules regarding clothing. We want your clothing choices to reflect who you are as
people, but we also do not want the clothes to "Steal the Show".  Groups of people should have clothing  that is
complimentary. We do not want one person standing out, whilst everyone else is where white for example.  Once you
make a booking and we have a chat about your style we will get a better concept for clothing choices. I am happy to
help you out and supply examples. We can even take a few changes of clothes to the shoot!

3.  How much time do I need to allow for my portrait session?
Two hours is usually ample time for most portrait sessions, with travel time added to that. For newborns, I allow
three hours to make sure we have time for feeds, changing and settling. I do not cap my sessions (within reason).
If needs breaks for children, or extra time to "get the shot", we will do it.

4.  When is the best time of the day for a portrait session?
I prefer to shoot last thing in the day before the sun sets to get that beautiful soft sunlight. However, if this does
not suit you we can organise shoots in locations where the sunlight will not interfere with the photos. Especially
when we have little kids & babies who need to have naps and breaks earlier in the day can be more suitable. We
can discuss this when you make a booking. I pride myself on flexibility.

5.  Will my portrait session images be available for proofing and ordering online?
Yes indeedy... Your images will be online in a secure password protected gallery. It usually takes me 7 working
days after your shoot to get it online. Once online you have 7 days to order to get the 10% Print Discount.
However the gallery stays there for three weeks.

6.  How much does a portrait cost and what’s included in the making of a portrait?
Please see the INVESTMENT page for more detailed pricing options.

to pop out and have a coffee :) Contact details and newsletter information are on the CONTACT page.
